Cupping

Cupping, or cupping therapy is a popular form of holistic healing with documented uses as far back as 1550 B.C. by the Egyptians.

There are many different varieties and forms of cupping. The most common types are dry and wet cupping.

Our Specialty

Here at Stone International Wellness Center, we practice a type of fire cupping, one that uses the fire to create a vacuum to attach the cups to the skin. This creates an extremely strong pressure, mimicking the intensity of wet cupping, while maintaining the non-invasive safety of dry cupping. No scarring or cuts are done to the skin.

Through our years of experience, we have found that using glass cups with a flame achieves the best results and is the most sanitary. Our glass cups are thoroughly washed and sanitized with hospital-grade sanitizer after each use.  This thorough cleaning cannot be achieved with a plastic or glass cup that has a one-directional valve that opens and closes (a pump).
